You can switch the game running on your GameCloud server at any time without any additional cost. The process takes only a few minutes and is done entirely through the GameCloud control panel. Follow the steps below to change the game assigned to your server.
Changing the game will replace the current server software. Back up any world data or configuration files you want to keep before proceeding.

Open your server in the panel

Log in to the GameCloud control panel and select the server you want to modify from your server list.

Go to Settings

In the left-hand navigation, click Settings to open the server settings page.

Select the Game

On the Settings page, locate and click the Change EGG tab. This section controls which game software is installed on your server.

Select your new game and confirm

Choose the game you want to run from the list, then confirm the change. The panel will reinstall the server with the new game software.
After the egg change completes, review the startup parameters for your new game some titles require additional configuration such as server names, passwords, or map settings before the server will start correctly.
